Common questions
We've answered the questions we hear most often. Still have one? Call us anytime — we love talking to potential clients.
Appointments & Scheduling
You can book by calling or texting us at (951) 712-7498, emailing [email protected], or using the booking form on our website. We confirm appointments quickly — often within minutes.
Yes. We offer same-day, evening, weekend, holiday, and urgent after-hours appointments based on current availability. For the fastest response, call or text us directly.
There's no required lead time. Many clients book a few hours before they need service. For complex signings or apostille services, more notice allows for better coordination.
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Urgent calls are always welcome.
Yes. Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change. We ask for reasonable notice when possible, but understand that circumstances — especially in medical situations — can change quickly.
Pricing & Fees
Pricing includes the California state-regulated notarization fee ($15 per signature notarized, per signer) plus a travel fee based on your location and appointment time. You'll receive a clear, complete quote before booking.
No. We believe in transparent pricing. Your quote covers all fees — notarization, travel, and any extras like printing. Nothing is added after the fact.
After-hours, evening, weekend, and holiday appointments may include an additional convenience fee. This will always be disclosed before you confirm your booking.
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is typically collected at the time of service.
What to Bring
Bring the complete, unsigned document and a valid, current government-issued photo ID — such as a driver's license, state ID card, or passport. Some documents may also require one or two witnesses.
Acceptable ID includes a current California driver's license, state-issued ID card, U.S. passport, military ID, or other government-issued photo ID. The ID must not be expired and must contain your photograph and signature.
No. You must sign all notarized documents in the presence of the notary. Do not sign anything beforehand — the notary must witness your signature to complete the notarization.
A notary cannot provide legal advice or help draft documents. However, we can direct you to the right areas of a standard document and explain what information is needed in each field.
Loan Signing
A typical loan package includes the promissory note, deed of trust, truth in lending disclosure, right of rescission (for refinances), closing disclosure, and other lender-specific documents. We're experienced with all standard real estate closing packages.
Yes. We regularly work with title companies, escrow offices, and lenders throughout Los Angeles County. We can receive e-docs, print them if needed, and return the signed package promptly.
A certified signing agent is a notary who has passed a background screening and completed additional training specific to real estate closing documents. All our loan signings are handled by NNA certified agents.
Hospital & Care Facilities
Yes. We regularly serve hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, hospice facilities, and private residences. We have established protocols for these settings and move quickly.
For urgent hospital calls, we respond as quickly as possible — often within 60 minutes depending on location and traffic. Call us directly for the fastest response.
In California, a person who cannot physically sign may be able to direct someone to sign on their behalf in their presence, or use a mark. This requires specific legal steps — contact us and we'll guide you through the options.
In many cases, yes. Let us know when you call so we can confirm witness requirements and availability for your specific document and situation.
Apostille Services
An apostille is a form of authentication issued by the Secretary of State that verifies the legitimacy of a document for use in countries that are members of the Hague Convention of 1961. It's commonly needed for birth certificates, marriage licenses, diplomas, and powers of attorney used abroad.
Standard processing through the California Secretary of State typically takes 5–10 business days. Rush processing options are available that can shorten this to 2–3 business days. Contact us for current timelines.
Common apostille documents include birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, divorce decrees, academic diplomas, powers of attorney, and notarized business documents. The document must be issued or notarized by a California official.
Fingerprinting
Ink fingerprinting is required for professional licensing (real estate, medical, legal), FBI background checks, immigration applications, adoption proceedings, employment with government agencies, and security clearances.
You should obtain the correct fingerprint card(s) from the requesting agency, as different agencies use different card formats (FBI FD-258, DOJ, etc.). If you're unsure, call us and we'll help clarify what you need.
Yes. We accommodate group and corporate fingerprinting sessions. Contact us with your headcount and timeline and we'll coordinate a convenient appointment.
